About the dogs, she says, “They love kids, long walks and homemade doggie biscuits–and love sleeping on the bed when we’re not home.”

Erin Liggett served her first Mass as an altar server at the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass, March 19, 2006, at St. Paul Church on Brown Street. Fr. Ralph Thomas, assisted by Deacon Mr. Frank Lonteen, celebrated the Mass. Jacob Gabelman, Erin’s cousin, served with her. She is shown here after Mass with Fr. Thomas and Deacon Lonteen.
Members of St. Paul Parish in Akron were invited during the 2006 Lenten season to “nail” any burden, illness or struggle in their faith to a wooden cross placed in the narthex of the church. “Our hope is that by bringing triublations to Our Lord, He will bring about a transformation in our lives so that something good will result from our suffering,” a notice in the church bulletin said.
This drawing, titled "My Nick toon Friends," was drawn by Erin Liggett from Feburary 26-28, 2006 for a school art project.
